White Panther

Beruz Malakim, der auch als Nifa Dzarit ("Der weiße Panther") bekannt ist, wurde im 9652. Jahr der Schöpfung in Galthagoth geboren. Als Bastard einer dûmudarischen Maevpriesterin und eines Gîdim war er kein Wunschkind und wurde wenige Tage nach der Geburt auf dem Sklavenmarkt verkauft. Sein Käufer war Baman Morgkarli, ein Uari der damals in Galthagoth eine Schule für Schaukämpfer errichtete.
Von seinem Besitzer/Ziehvater wurde Beruz schon früh zum Schaukämpfer ausgebildet. Leibesertüchtigung und Kampfübungen bestimmten die Kindheit von Beruz, bis er im Alter von 14 Jahren zum ersten Mal als "Nifa Dzarit" in der Arena stand. Vier Jahre lang kämpfte der weiße Panther drei- bis viermal die Woche effektvoll um sein Leben. Das Leben außerhalb der Kämpfe war einfach, aber gut: Baman versorgte Beruz mit Essen und Frauen.
Vor einem Jahr viel sein Ziehvater beim Mard von Galthagoth in Ungnade und als dessen Häscher kamen um Baman zu töten, stellte sich Beruz ihnen in den Weg; trotz all seiner Kampferfahrung wurde er überwältigt und in einem Akt der Gnade verbannt - was aus Baman wurde hat er nie erfahren.

Beruz Malakim, also known as "Nifa Dzarit" (the "White Panther"), was born in the 9652nd Year of Creation in Galthagoth. As a bastard of Dark Folk and human heritage he was not a planned child and was sold a few days after birth in a slave market. His buyer, Baman Morgkarli, built a school for gladiators in these days, to become rich and leave his past in the steppe behind.
By his owner & mentor Beruz was trained early on as a show fighter. Physical and martial exercises formed his childhood until he was 14 years old: The first time "Nifa Dzarit" stood in the arena. For four years the white panther fought three to four times a week for his life. Life outside the arena was simple but good: Baman supplied him with food and women.
A year ago his surrogate father fell in disgrace by the Mard of Galthagoth and as his thugs came to kill Baman, Beruz stood in their way, but despite all his combat experience, he was overwhelmed. In an act of grace the Mard banned him from Galthagoth - what happend to Baman, was untold to Beruz.
